Eugene Henry Kedzierski, 81, Army Veteran, of Mt. Prospect, formerly Chicago, passed away January 8, 2024. Beloved husband of Virginia B. Kedzierski for 42 magical years. Devoted father/father-in-law of Eugene S. Kedzierski and Daniela Kedzierski, Leonard S. Kedzierski, David R. Malgapo and Dianey V. Rico, Kevin F. Malgapu and Elizabeth Malgapu, Veronica Kedzierski Gonzalez and David W. Gonzalez. Adored grandfather of Steven and Ryan Kedzierski, Kayla, Kyle and Sierra Kedzierski, Nikolas, Cessellie, Apollo and Autumn Malgapo, Brenda Rico, Jazmyne and Alanna Malgapu, Brandon Kedzierski, Vincent, Vivika and Solomon Kedzierski-Gonzalez. Dear brother to Chester Kedzierski and brother-in-law to Sandra Kedzierski. Longtime elevator mechanic. Proud member of the Knights of Columbus. Hobbyist of antiques and antique cars. Eugene will be remembered for his love of travel and going on adventures, shooting pool, being a friend to all, and the joy he brought when spending time with family.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Hyacinth Basilica on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 10am. Burial private.
