Ferdinand Torres, 63, of Chicago's Dunning neighborhood and formerly of the Lakeview area, transitioned on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 after a brief illness.

Beloved husband of Judith (née Pepin) for 22 years. Cherished Step-Father of Ennis (Dolores) Pepin, Pedro Pepin, Dominic (Daisy) Medina and Debra (Reinaldo) Medina. Dear father of Fernando (Cindy). Former father-in-law of Joynel. Loving Grandpa to Janessa (Rey), Ruby (Eric), Dominique (Jamari), Jaime, Gabriel (Dominique), the late Juliana, Lilliana, Adriana and Ferdinand. Dear Great-Grandpa of Janaleze, Jayceon, Jazaye, Logan, Aubree and A.J. Cherished brother of Miriam, Janet, Cosmo and the late Lucy. Loving uncle of Lisa. Ferdinand will be missed by a host of family members and friends.

Ferdinand had a passion for gardening and during the summer months could always be found outside in the garden. He also loved spending time with his dogs and cats.
