Frances DuWaldt

Frances DuWaldt, 73, of Elgin, IL and formerly of Green Bay, WI passed away August 20, 2023. Loving wife of Michael for 45 years. Cherished mother of Ann (Mark) Wieczorek. Beloved grandmother of Jack, Lucy and Nora. Dear sister of the late John (Joan) DuPont, JoAnne (John) Morgan, Catherine DuPont, Paul (Sue) DuPont, the late Robert (the late Laura) DuPont,  Mary (the late William) Hobbins, Laura (John) Ruppel, and Anne Miller. Fran began her career as a Librarian and continued in academia until retirement as head of admissions  at McHenry County College. Fran's favorite things included flowers, animals (dogs in particular), the Green Bay Packers, and most of all, talking! Fran possessed the gift of gab; she never met a stranger and made friends with anyone and everyone. Fran was a generous and charitable woman who loved to spoil her grandchildren and her dog, Millie. She will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life ceremony will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Hotel Baker in St. Charles, IL from 2:00-5:00 pm CST.
