He is survived by his four children, Samantha Locklear, Serena (Tim) Beecroft, James Locklear, & Cassandra (Jason) Belyew and 6 grandchildren; siblings Lonnie Locklear, Anita Gail Palma, David Locklear; born to Grover Locklear and Elizabeth Jackson.

He will be laid to rest at Lumbee Memorial Gardens, Lumberton, NC with his family.
