Gary Billings

Gary J. Billings, 67, of Schiller Park, Illinois, formerly of Chicago, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026.

Gary was truly one of a kind. Known for his quick wit, unforgettable sense of humor, and ability to always have a comeback ready, he had a way of making people laugh whether they expected it or not. Gary loved the ladies, enjoyed a good time, and was never afraid to speak his mind. If you knew Gary, chances are you have a story or two that still makes you laugh.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and James O. Billings; his brother, James A. Billings; and his sister, Patricia L. Kieras.

He is survived by his sons, Blake and Bryan Billings; his nieces, Jennifer Finnegan, Jamie Billings, and Jessica Boydston; his nephew, James E. Billings; his sister-in-law, Jacqueline Billings; and his beloved great-nieces and great-nephew.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 13, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Richie's Restaurant & Sports Lounge, 9812 W. Lawrence Avenue, Schiller Park, IL.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Gary the way he would have wanted — with laughter, good company, food, drinks, and karaoke! A cash bar will be available, and everyone is encouraged to bring photographs, favorite memories, and a song that reminds them of Gary.

Gary may have left us, but he certainly didn't leave us without plenty to talk about.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
