George A. Kurz, 77, of Schaumburg and formerly of the North Side of Chicago passed away Thursday, February, 25, 2021. Beloved husband of Peggy (nee Pfortmiller) for 44 years. Loving father of Amy Kurz (Richard Herndon, Jr.) and Mark Kurz. Dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. George was a devoted Chicago sports fan and a gifted engineer, craftsman and builder. He built many houses, decks, porches, and patios including the house he and his family have lived in for 44 years.
