Geraldine E. Barnas

Geraldine E Barnas, 75, of Chicago's Dunning neighborhood and formerly of Roselle and Belmont Craigen, passed peacefully at home October 29th 2023. Longtime supervisor at Bank of America. Survived by her beloved husband Ted for 57 years; loving children Deborah Hedstrom and Tammy (Michael) Sclafani; cherished grandchildren Amanda, Joseph, Emily and Amy; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by siblings Frank Jr. (the late Vera) Strnad, Richard (the late Donna) Strnad, Milton (the late Josephine) Strnad, Ladislav (the late Betty) Strnad and Rosemarie (the late Peter) Podraza.  

Memorial service is scheduled at 11am on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at St Francis Borgia Catholic Church, 8033 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60634. Mass begins at 12pm.
