Gilbert "Dominic" Velez

Gilbert "Dominic" Velez, 64, of Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood, formerly of the Lincoln Park neighborhood, passed away on January 24, 2025. He leaves behind his loving children Alana, Louis and Ethan. He was a cherished grandfather of Dominic, George Nicole and Jesse and even a dear great grandfather of Angelo, Violet, Camden, Zahriya, Lucien, Ozzy and Thelma. Last but not least he was also a beloved brother of Maria, Ada, Carmen, Raymond, Candido, Joe and Benny. He was a fond uncle and friend of many. 

A visitation will be held January 31st from 4p-8p at the American Indian Center (3401 W Ainslie St. Chicago, Il, 60625)
