Gloria Becker

With great sadness we announce the passing of Gloria Becker, our loving and devoted mother, beloved wife of Selwyn, and friend to many, on April 27, 2020. Born on February 3, 1930 in Rochester, New York, Gloria spent most of her adult life in Hyde Park. She was the beloved mother of Amy (Jeff) Zimmerman, Joe Becker, and Michael (Shawn) Becker, cherished Grammie of Dr. Joshua (Jackie) Zimmerman, Dr. Allison Zimmerman, Marlena and Eva Becker, and Julia Mazur. Gloria was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, reading, playing the piano, and found particular joy in classical music. She and her husband were long time patrons of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Arrangements entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options of Schiller Park, Illinois.
