Graylin Holmes

Graylin Holmes, age 68, of Chicago's West Side, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 25, 2020. He was baptized at an early age in Louisiana. Graylin is survived by his beloved partner for over forty-five years, Patricia Holman; his loving children Randy Holman, Gregory Holman and Patrice Holman; siblings Julius Holmes Jr., Terry (Kim) Holmes, Tamie Holmes and Chanda Huff; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dear son of Julius Holmes Sr. and the late Sarah Jane Holmes. Graylin was an easy going gentleman who is fondly remembered by his family for his happy disposition and positivity. He loved Smokey Robinson, boxing, rollerskating and always enjoyed a good plate of BBQ. He was an avid baseball fan who could often be found cheering on his Chicago Cubs. He will be dearly missed by his friends, family and all who knew and loved him. Arrangements entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options of Schiller Park, Illinois.
