Gregory Dwayne Mims

Gregory D. Mims, 60, born and raised in Chicago's South Side area, passed away May 7, 2021. He was the youngest of the eight children of Matthew & Carrie and is survived by his two sisters, Teresa & Lorraine. Preceded in death by Robert, Maxine, Joan, James Earl & Matthew, Jr., Gregory was a beloved brother and cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. A dear friend to many, Gregory was employed at The Chicago Messenger Service for over 35 years. He was a graduate of DePaul University and an avid fan of all sports whose interests included computers, music & comic books, to name a few.
