Gregory Webster, fondly known as Greg, went home to be with our Lord August 31, 2026 at the age of 71. Greg grew up in Chicago and later settled in Norfolk, Virginia with his wife Janice. He loved cars and worked as a mechanic for many years. Greg was a devoted family man and member at Christ First Community Fellowship.

Greg leaves behind his beloved wife of 29 years, Janice; loving daughter Tiffaney, son Gregory (Angel) and bonus children Jai, Jaimeisha (Zach), Janitra (Lennox), Dajai and Xavier; cherished grandchildren Jaicee, Kiana, Kardale, Dajanee, Genesis, Jai, Jaiden, Jai III, Darrius, Giordan, Zavian and Olivia; dear sister Angela Harding; his Aunt Evonne Stratton and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, including his longtime friends Dennis Ricks; Larry Hughes; and James Davis(Bertha), his bonus Mom Ruby Greenwood (Sook) and his father-in-law Willie Irving (Carrie.) 

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Iverson and Earnestine Webster; brother Everette Webster, his sister-in-law June; his grandson Julian; his beloved Uncle Wilbert and his mother-in-law Frances Irving.

A celebration of his life will be held at Keith McGee Funeral Home, 300 E. 115th St. Chicago, IL 60628. Viewing from 10 AM -12 PM Service from 12 PM - 1 PM.
