Haddon (Don) Klingberg, Jr., 84, of Evanston IL, formerly of New Britain CT, died unexpectedly on November 8, 2023.
He was the beloved husband of Jan Klingberg for 55 years, father of Travis (Bertie Bi) and Jess, and grandfather to Theo. Don also will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, sisters- and brother-in-law as well as many to whom he was friend, mentor, teacher, and counselor.
Don was a clinical psychologist, a professor emeritus at North Park University (Chicago), and an ordained minister with the United Church of Christ.
A memorial service will be held on December 9 (3 p.m.) at First Congregational Church of Wilmette (1125 Wilmette Ave, Wilmette, IL 60091).
