Helen M. Koutnik

Helen was very proud of her career as Secretary to the President of First National Bank.  It was during this time that she

met her future husband, Frank who was a policeman posted to the area.   They eventually married and raised four

energetic sons:  John, Jeffrey, James, and Jerome in the Neighborhood around St Helens Parish where they were all very

 active in Parish and School Life.   Helen dedicated her life to caring for others whether they were her family, strangers or

newly arrived Polish Immigrants.  Helen’s devoutness to her Roman Catholic faith was well known and experienced by

many a fortunate lay person, Priest and Nun.   Helen later worked many years in the insurance industry and In the Pastoral

Care department at St Mary of Nazareth Hospital.   Helen was preceded in death by her Parents, Frank and Marie Sagula

as well as her husband Frank, her sons James and John, stepson Frank Jr. and her  Grandson James.   She is survived by

her sons Reverend Jerome Koutnik and Jeffrey Koutnik (Denise), grandchildren Jeffrey Jr., Ryan, Kelly, Patrick and

Samantha, and her brother Frank Sagula (Gloria
