Helmut Panzilius, 83, of Chicago's Dunning neighborhood, entered into rest on December 7, 2025. He was born on April 26, 1942, in Ukraine.

Helmut was married to his wife, Rosemarie, for 63 years. He was preceded in death by his son Frank and is survived by his son, Eric (Odila) Panzilius, and by four grandchildren — Sherri, Joshua, David, and Erik Panzilius.

Helmut will be remembered by his family.
