When I look into your eyes
I can see a love restrained
But darling when I hold you
Don\'t you know I feel the same
\'Cause nothing lasts forever
And we both know hearts can change
And it\'s hard to hold a candle
In the cold November rain
We\'ve been through this such a long long time
Just trying to kill the pain
But lovers always come and lovers always go
An no one\'s really sure who\'s letting go today
Walking away
If we could take the time
To lay it on the line
I could rest my head
Just knowing that you were mine
All mine
So if you want to love me
Then darling don\'t refrain
Or I\'ll just end up walking
In the cold November rain
Do you need some time... on your own
Do you need some time... all alone
Everybody needs some time... on their own
Don\'t you know you need some time all alone
I know it\'s hard to keep an open heart
When even friends seem out to harm you
But if you could heal a broken heart
Wouldn\'t time be out to charm you
Sometimes I need some time... on my own
Sometimes I need some time... all alone
Everybody needs some time... on their own
Don\'t you know you need some time all alone
And when your fears subside
And shadows still remain
I know that you can love me
When there\'s no one left to blame
So never mind the darkness
We still can find a way
\'Cause nothing lasts forever
Even cold November rain
Don\'t you think that you need somebody
Don\'t you think that you need someone
Everybody needs somebody
You\'re not the only one
You\'re not the only one
Don\'t you think that you need somebody
Don\'t you think that you need someone
Everybody needs somebody
You\'re not the only one
You\'re not the only one
Don\'t you think that you need somebody
Don\'t you think that you need someone
Everybody needs somebody
You\'re not the only one
You\'re not the only one
Don\'t you think that you need somebody
Don\'t you think that you need someone
Everybody needs somebody...

Growin\' up, you don\'t see the writing on the wall
Passin\' by, movin\' straight ahead, you knew it all
But maybe sometime if you feel the pain
You\'ll find you\'re all alone, everything has changed
Play the game, you know you can\'t quit until it\'s won
Soldier on, only you can do what must be done
You know in some way you\'re a lot like me
You\'re just a prisoner and you\'re tryin\' to break free
I can see a new horizon underneath the blazin\' sky
I\'ll be where the eagle\'s flying higher and higher
Gonna be your man in motion, all I need\'s this pair of wheels
Take me where my future\'s lyin\', St. Elmo\'s fire (Ooh, oooh, oooh)
Burning up, don\'t know just how far that I can go
(Just how far I go)
Soon be home, only just a few miles down the road
I can make it, I know, I can
You broke the boy in me but you won\'t break the man
I can see a new horizon underneath the blazin\' sky
I\'ll be where the eagle\'s flying higher and higher
Gonna be your man in motion, all I need\'s this pair of wheels
Take me where my future\'s lyin\', St. Elmo\'s fire
I can climb the highest mountain, cross the wildest sea
I can feel St. Elmo\'s fire burnin\' in me, burnin\' in me
Just once in his life a man has his time
And my time is now, I\'m coming alive
I can hear the music playin\', I can see the banners fly
Feel like you\'re back again, and hope ridin\' high
Gonna be your man in motion, all I need\'s this pair of wheels
Take me where my future\'s lyin\', St. Elmo\'s fire
Elmo\'s fire burnin\' in me
Burnin\', burnin\' in me, I can feel it burnin\'
St. Elmo\'s fire, St. Elmo\'s fire

In a lifetime
Made of memories
I believe
In destiny
Every moment returns again in time
When I\'ve got the future on my mind
Know that you\'ll be the only one
Meet me half way
Across the sky
Out where the world belongs
To only you and I
Meet me half way
Across the sky
Make this a new beginning of another life
In a lifetime
There is only love
Reaching for
The lonely one
We are stronger when we are given love
When we put emotions on the line
Know that we are the timeless ones
Meet me half way
Across the sky
Out where the world belongs
To only you and I
Meet me half way
Across the sky
Make this a new beginning of another life
Meet me half way
Across the sky
Out where the world belongs
To only you and I
Meet me half way
Across the sky
Make this a new beginning of another life
Meet me half way
Across the sky

You spend all your time waiting
For that second chance
For a break that would make it okay
Theres always some reason
To feel not good enough
And its hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction
Ohh beautiful release
Memories seep from my veins
Let me be empty
Oh and weightless and maybe
We'll find some peace tonight
In the arms of the angel
Fly away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you feel
You were pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
Your in the arms of the angel
May you find come comfort here
Your so tired of the straight line
And everywhere you turn
Theres vultures and theives at your back
The storm keeps on twisting
You keep building the lies
That make up for all that you lack
It doesn't make no difference
Escaping one last time
It's easier to believe
In this sweet madness
Oh this glorious sadness
That brings me to my knees
In the arms of the angel
Fly away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you feel
You were pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
Your in the arms of the angel
May you find come comfort here
In the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here
