Howard "Dink" Dobrick, 81, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on June 8, 2025, after a long illness. A devoted husband, caring father and grandfather, respected business owner, and faithful friend, Dink will be remembered for his keen wit, impeccable sense of quality and unquenchable thirst for knowledge.
Dink was passionate about art, design, travel, music and the stock market. He touched the lives of many with his profound sense of humor, warmth, creativity, curiosity and gregarious outgoing nature. His disarming wit and empathetic heart allowed him the uncanny ability to connect to just about anyone.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Heidi (née Neri), his daughter Rebecca (Ryan) Quinn, granddaughter Ruby Quinn, and nieces Judy (Mark) Karmin and Susan (Howard) Klieger. He also leaves behind a close-knit group of lifelong friends, and many extended family members who loved him dearly.
His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know and love him.
Arrangements entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options in Schiller Park, Illinois.
