Jacob John Schlechter III

Our hearts are broken as we say goodbye to Jacob 'Jack' Schlechter, who passed away on May 28, 2026. Jack was a man of rhythm and compassion, always happiest when holding his bass or caring for the animals he loved so dearly. He was a hard worker his whole life and recently was entering retirement. He was a devoted partner to Marie Helvey for 22 years, and we take some comfort knowing they are together again after her passing just weeks ago. His legacy lives on through his children, Jaclyn, William, and KC, and the nine grandchildren who brought him such pride. Worth will be a little quieter without his music, but his memory will play on in our hearts forever.
