James E. Adams, 57, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019. Survived by his children Carolyn Williams, Marcus (Carrie) Williams, Kathleen Williams, Jerome Williams, Stephanie Williams, Vernetta Posten, Arrin Posten and a host of other sons and daughters; step-children Bertisa Williams, Constina Williams, Marlee Smith, Nicholas Smith and Maurice Smith; a host of grandchildren; his siblings Mary Adams, Linda Adams and Rodney Adams; preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Adams. James was known around the Evanston, Illinois area for playing pool and often frequented Fritzy's. Arrangements entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options of Schiller Park, Illinois.
