James Belt

James Belt, 80, of Chicago, IL, entered into eternal rest on October 13th, 2023.

James is survived by his children, Joyce and James Palmer, and Phillip, Kirk, Jermaine, Rahsaan, and Omar Belt, as well as a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. James is also survived by his siblings, Joyce Whitehead, Walter Brown, Willa Goodman, Patricia Williams, Helen and Anthony Belt, Beverly Jones, and Lloyd Smith. James was preceded in death by is brothers, Rodger and David Belt, as well as his parents, Anna Mae and James Belt.

In life, James was a professional cab driver and often enjoyed bowling in his spare time.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
