James Iwanowski, a dedicated and hardworking individual known for his career as a Retired Pipe Fitter and his service as a Vietnam Veteran, passed away on May 21, 2024. He was born on March 2, 1948.
James will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his work and country. His determination and skills as a pipe fitter left a lasting impact on those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His service in the Vietnam showcased his bravery and selflessness.
He is survived by his loving nieces Cindy LaRocca, Lori Ciara, Susan Funk, Wendy Kirby, Patti Tempel, as well as nephews, Christopher Indelli, Gregory Indelli, and Frank Indelli Jr.
Loving brother of the late Raymond (Karen) Iwanowski, the late Donald Iwanowski, the late Diane (Norbert) Perkins, the late Deborah (Frank) Indelli. Dear uncle of the late Tracy Iwanowski.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate James's life will be held on May 29, 2024, at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois. Memorial ceremony starts promptly at 10am with the burial to follow.
James Iwanowski will be dearly missed but his legacy of hard work, dedication, and bravery will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
