James Magsby, Jr
James Lee Magsby Jr., 53, of Harvey, Illinois, passed away on September 9, 2026. He was born in Harvey on July 18, 1973, to James Lee Magsby Sr. and the late BobbieAnn Clark.
James shared 19 years of marriage with his wife, Brittany (née Gathings). He was a loving father to James Lee Magsby III, Jamea Magsby, and Jamoni Magsby.
James was a dear brother to Rolanda Everly and Olivia (Kevin) Mahoney. He is also survived by his father, James Lee Magsby Sr.
A balloon release in memory of James will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The time and location will be announced.
