James Q. Parker

Private James Q. Parker, 66, of Chicago's Southside & formerly of the Northside and New York, passed away May 5, 2022. Beloved companion of Martha Lewis for 37 years. Loving father of Jayme, Kevin & Kourteney Parker and stepfather of Benita Hicks, Robin Hicks, Lorrae Hicks and Dionne Hicks. Cherished grandfather of Kayvon, Giovanni, Devughn, Yamara, Genesis, Keturah, Zahara, Zion & Jayme Jr. Dear brother of the late Frank. He was a Veteran who served his country proudly. Because of his accomplishments and outstanding military bearing, he was designated the colonel's orderly. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working hard, playing dominos, and listening to Dustys. He had a huge heart and was incredibly funny. He will be missed dearly.
