James Stevenson

James Stevenson, 73, of Gary, Indiana and formerly of Calumet City and Chicago, Illinois, passed away June 13, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Lil Stevenson; loving father of Jamie (Jeremy) Hargett and Donna (Andrew) Ruiz; devoted step-father of Meloney Stevenson and Julie Stevenson; cherished grandfather of Kayla, Padraig, Jason, Dana, Chantel, Jenna, Dallas, Christina, Jazmine, Rayna, Augustine and Dolton; great-grandfather of Roman, Marti, Rhakari, Jordan, Nashmi, Kalihan, Alvin, Hayden, Alana and Joslyn. Dear brother of Lee, Buck, Carl, Dwella, Wanda, Marty, Midge, Ilene and Sonny.

James was an amazing bowler and enjoyed fishing, camping and drinking. He loved driving his old trucks and adored spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

A celebration of his life will be determined at a later date and time.
