Janice Stafford

Janice Stafford, age 80, passed away on July 28, 2025, in Park Ridge, Illinois. She was born on February 26, 1945, in Winona, Minnesota, and formerly lived in Monterey and Winamac, Indiana.

Janice was married for 46 years to the late Edd Stafford. She was the proud mother of Laura Kupinski (David) and Michael Stafford (Shannon), and a loving grandmother to Sarah Marie Smolik-Galas (Erwin), Nicholas Kupinski (Emma), and Sam Stafford. She was the cherished sister of Barbara Rhoden and the late Gary Shanks.

Janice worked for many years at Jewel Foods in Chicago and Sanders in Winamac, and was known for her strong work ethic and kind heart. She was a devoted wife and a proud mother, but it was her grandchildren who brought her the greatest joy.

Janice is deeply loved and will be missed more than words can express. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
