Janice Jourdan Stefany

Janice Jourdan Stefany, of Evanston, IL passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 94. She was born on February 20, 1931, in Gross Pointe Farms, Michigan. Janice spent much of her life traveling with her husbands, exploring the country and living in places such as San Diego, Austin, Seattle, and Florida. She eventually settled in Middleton, Wisconsin, before returning to Evanston. In her final years, she lived among a supportive group of friends at The Merion in Evanston. Janice is survived by her three nephews, Michael Bilger, Daniel Bilger, and James Bilger. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Jourdan; her husband, Roger Stefany; her sister, Joan Turnbloom; and her brother-in-law, George Bilger.

Janice will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and the warmth she brought to the lives of those around her. She leaves behind fond memories that will be cherished by her family and friends.A memorial will be held at a later date.
