Janis May Jeffris, of Chicago and formerly of Lake Forest, Illinois and New Port Richey, Florida, passed away September 4, 2026 at that age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Paul Willis Jeffris. Loving mother of Jennifer (Doug Hanrahan) Jeffris, Paul (Karrie) Jeffris and Laura (Greg Simonian) Jeffris. Adoring grandmother of Jane (Mike Cagen) Hanrahan, May (Jennifer) Henrahan, Kira Jeffris, River Jeffris, Matthew (Paul) Jeffris, Finlay Simonian and Daisy (Laura) Simonian. Cherished sister of Tamara (Howard) Shultz. Janis was a longtime supporter and volunteer for the Junior Service League of New Port Richey. She enjoyed playing tennis and golfing.
