Jaquet Shilvock

Jaquet Shilvock, age 78, of Crystal Lake, IL, passed away on August 12, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Chicago, IL, Jaquet also lived in West Plains, MO for a time. She shared chapters of her life with Dieter Gutt, Sr, Joseph Pashka, and John Skorodynski, each of whom was a meaningful part of her journey. Above all, she loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart, and they were the center of her world.

Beloved daughter of the late John & Sallie Shilvock and dear sister to the late Penelope. Jaquet is survived by her children Dieter Gutt, Jr, John Gutt, Martin Gutt, Keith Gutt, Nicole Pashka and Jennifer Pashka, her grandchildren Keith Gutt, Alex Gutt, Sallie Gutt, Martin Gutt, Jr, Jayson Gutt, Vance Gutt and Johnny Blade Pashka who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Jaquet found joy in tending her garden, cheering for the Chicago Cubs, listening to music, playing poker, and caring for animals of all kinds—especially her beloved cockatiel, Bird.

She enjoyed her tenure as an executive secretary in the publishing industry.

Jaquet will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
