Jean Balkom, 56, of Chicago's K-Town neighborhood and formerly of various neighborhoods throughout Chicago's South, West and North Sides, peacefully at rest January 14, 2023. She is survived by her loving children Jerry Patterson, Precious Maddux and Sorrell Maddux; caring siblings Kenny, Pat, Rita, Charles and Teresa; and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends. Jean was preceded in death by her sisters Gail and Jennifer.
