Jean "Jan" Kennedy

Jean "Jan" Kennedy (nèe Doody), 75, of Chicago's Dunning neighborhood, formerly, the Sauganash neighborhood and River Forest, passed away after a brief illness on November 28, 2023.

Adored wife of Bill for 40 loving years. Cherished step mother of Jennifer Kennedy, Mary Kennedy and Susanne (Daniel) Malagoli. Loving grandmother of Tyler, Rory, Declan, Esme Riordan and Daniel, Grace and Isabella Malagoli. Dear sister of Mary Fran (James) Finkler, Patricia (the late Jerry) Torme and Joan (Daniel) Mossgaller. Fond aunt and friend to many.

Jan will be remembered for her humorous recounting of stories, her affability and kindness.

Memorial celebration of life is pending.
