Jean Nepstad

Jean Nepstad passed away on October 18, 2026, at the age of 92.

Born on July 15, 1934, she will be remembered with love by those who knew her and by the family who shared in her life across the years.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Teri Burgess(Ronald) and Lynn Winkelman, and by her son, Eric Nepstad. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Mathew Altepeter, Richard Altepeter, Travis Burgess(Jessica), and Tyler Burgess, who will carry her memory forward. Maryann Sommers also survives Jean and remains among those who will remember her with affection.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Nepstad, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her grandchild, Carol Altepeter, and by her son-in-law, John Winkelman.

Jean’s life was centered on the people she loved, and her memory will remain a lasting part of her family’s story. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
