Jessie M. Cruze, 87, of Hyde Park, formerly of Evanston & Chicago's South Side; after a long illness found rest on August 6, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Rudolph. Loving mother of the late Estalitta Rose (the late Charles Richard Hollie) Andrews. Cherished Nana of La Niececia Hollie, Aristotle and Andre Patterson and Jessica Hollie. Great Grandmother of four. Dear sister of Jeannette (the late George) Monroe. Fond aunt and friend to many. Jessie was a former telephone operator for Illinois Bell. She was also a bold advocate for children, an active community member and volunteer for Little Brothers of the Elderly.
