Joan Hitzler

Joan Hitzler, 90, of Grayslake and formerly of Park Ridge, went home to be with our Lord on April 9, 2021. Beloved wife of the late William Jr. (1998). Loving mother of William III (Carolyn), Thomas, Diane, John, Dorann and Suzanne (Ed). Cherished grandmother of Michael (Anna), Cory (Tyler), Andrew and Kelsey; great-grandmother of Bradyn and Charlotte. Joan loved volunteering with various children’s organizations both in the Chicago area and in Arkansas where her and her husband spent their retirement. She enjoyed golf, dancing, and playing cards. But most of all she loved spending time with family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, June 4th from 10 - 11 am at St. Gilbert’s Church 301 E. Belvidere Rd, Grayslake IL 60030. In lieu of Flowers please consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital www.stjude.org

Mass at St. Gilbert’s will follow at 11 am
