Joel A. Jeffries, 68, of Chicago's Irving Park neighborhood, formerly of Des Moines IA, passed away December 28, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Colleen (2022). Adored father of Paul (Marilynn Rubio). Cherished "Pop Pop" of Jake. Dear brother of Kala (the late Kent) Hill, Lyle (Karla), the late Faye (Jeff) Gillespie and the late Jason. Loving uncle of Eric, Grant, Nicholas, Jenny, Tanner, Danny and Ellen. Fond friend to many. He was a longtime lawyer in family law. He was a faithful and proud Christian.

A memorial service will be held on January 27th at 11am at Montrose Baptist Church.
