John Bernardo

John Bernardo, 69, of Gurnee, IL, originally from Mundelein, IL,
passed away on May 4, 2026. A 30-year veteran of the United States
Postal Service, John was a talented artist and musician who loved
playing the bass guitar. He will be fondly remembered by his brother,
Charles (Tracy) Bernardo, and his nieces and nephews, Jessica (Martin)
Humphrey, Brandon, Sierra, William, and Emma Bernardo. He was preceded
in death by his parents, Joseph and Ethel Bernardo. John’s creative
soul and companionship with his pet parrot, Rollo, will be deeply
missed by all who knew him.
