John Flores

John Flores, 66, of Elmwood Park formerly of Chicago passed away on July 6th 2023 after a long battle with Stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). Beloved husband of Wilma Flores for 39 years. Loving father of Sabrina (John) Pruett, James Flores, Kevin Flores, and Kelsey Flores. Dear brother of Agapito Jr., Hector, Kenny, Edwin, William and Angel. Cherished son of Agapito Flores (deceased) and Rosa Gonzalez. He was also a proud grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 2.

He was a longtime employee of CTA. He liked classic cars, and owned a vintage 1990 caddy. He was a huge fan of the Chicago Bears, Blackhawks and White Sox. Known for his big heart and sense of humor, John always filled the room with love and laughter. Most importantly, he was a devoted family man.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 29th at Casey & Rios Funeral Home from 4pm - 7:30pm (see below for directions).
