John R. Forster

John R. Forster, 89, of Plainfield, formerly of Willow Springs, entered into eternal life June 3, 2025.

Beloved husband of the late Melrita (2005). Loving father of John (Cindy) and Karen (Tim) Carroll. Cherished grandpa of TJ (Diana) Carroll, Alaina (Rich) Roche, Bryan (Maggie Gomez) Carroll, Katie Forster, and Mary Forster. Dearest great grandfather of Nathan, Isaac, Sebastian, Jordan, Eli, C.J., Cris, Quinn, Mason, and Benny. John was preceded in death by his brother. A fond uncle and a friend to many, he will be deeply missed.

A visitation is to be held on Sunday, June 8th, from 1-5PM at Anderson Goodale Memorial Home (912 S. Hamilton St. Lockport, IL 60441).

Mass is to be held Monday, June 9th, at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel (Marian Village 15624 Marian Dr. Homer Glen, Illinois 60491), followed by graveside interment at St Casimir Cemetery (4401 W 111th St, Chicago, IL 60655).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in John's honor to Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care in Joliet.
