John Clifford Keith

John Clifford Keith Sr, 74, of Lombard, IL passed away after a long illness on March 7th, 2025. John was born to Gordon and Margaret (Sullivan) Keith in Franklin, PA and moved with his family to Brookfield, IL in 1963. He graduated from Riverside Brookfield High School in 1968, and earned a BA in Mass Communications (Radio) from St. Ambrose College in 1975. John married Mary Ellen Keith (née Supan) in 1977 and welcomed his son, John Jr. in 1981. He experienced a lengthy career in radio and freelance voice over work both in the Quad Cities and Chicago areas. His employment included working to help launch XM Satellite Radio in Washington DC and for Oprah & Friends Radio as production director. After retirement in 2014, John became a passionate member of the Chicago North Men’s Baseball League and enjoyed additional residences in South Haven, MI and Carefree, AZ. John is proceeded in death by his parents Gordon and Margaret; stepmother Anna Lisa and sister, Mary Joan. Besides his wife and son, he is survived by siblings Daniel of Momence, IL, Christopher (Dawn) of St. Paul, MN, Katherine of Urbandale, IA, Anthony of Aurora, IL, Robert of Mill Valley, CA as well as many nieces and nephews.
