Jack Radabaugh, 92, WWII Army Air Force veteran, of Chicago, Illinois, formerly of Homosassa, FL, Palatine and Arlington Heights, IL, at rest February 28, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Mary H. Radabaugh. Loving father to Ann Radabaugh, Sue (Earl) Moore, and Jane (Angus) Buckstaff. Dearest Baca of Alison, Ryan, Anna, and Christina. Cherished brother of the late Robert (Irma) and Nelson Radabaugh. Jack’s first career was as a reporter for the Painesville Dealer, in Ohio. While on assignment covering the new addition at the local high school, he was captivated by the smile of Mary Smith, the home economics teacher. They were married for 50 years. Shortly after their marriage, Jack began a successful career in industrial sales, first with Anchor Fence Company and then with Samuel Moore Company, a division of Eaton Corporation. Jack worked for Samuel Moore for 25 years. He enjoyed being with his family, playing golf, and traveling. Jack was a committed member of the Methodist church wherever he lived. A visitation will take place Friday, March 15, 2019 at 10am followed by a memorial service at 11 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela Street, Barrington, IL 60010. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heifer International: https://fundraise.heifer.org/jackrad Arrangements entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options of Schiller Park, Illinois.
