Jonathan Paul Mathes

Jonathan Paul Mathes, 40, of Harwood Heights, Illinois and formerly of Chicago's Logan Square area, after a brief illness had peacefully passed away March 3, 2023. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 15 years, Melissa; loving children Lillyanna and Nathan; cherished parents Karren Mathes and Horst Mathes, and mother-in-law Sue Jackson; caring brother Aidan and sisters-in-law Renee Hawkins and Tiffany Hawkins; treasured nieces Jalissa and Alani, and nephew Noah; dearest aunt Mary Schuler; uncles David Kraft and Jim Schuler, and uncles-in-law Tom Hennings, Tim Hennings and Danny Hennings; and many great friends. Jonathan was a longtime employee at Jewel-Osco but had recently changed his profession and became an exterminator at Rentokill. A celebration of his life will be planned at a later date and time.
