Jose Luis Cordova

Jose Luis Cordova, a devoted family man and skilled auto mechanic, passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2023, at Christ Hospital in Oaklawn, IL. He was born on May 1, 1966, in Mexico City, Mexico, to Ismael Cordova and Guillermina Huerta.

Jose was a loving father and grandfather. He leaves behind two daughters: Erica (Salvador) Apanco and Bianca Cordova. He adored his grandchildren, McKenzie Brock and Naya Zamora, and cherished every moment spent with them. Jose's nurturing nature will continue to shine through in the hearts of his family for generations to come.

Jose leaves behind his beloved siblings, Javier (Gabriela) Cordova, Ninfa (Ramiro) Trujillo, Maria (Humberto) Escobar, Maria (Horacio) Valenciiano, Ismael Cordova Jr. and Manny (Isalia) Cordova. They shared countless memories together.

Jose's sudden departure has left a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His friends, colleagues, and family will forever remember him. Though the pain of his absence may be overwhelming, we find solace in the memories he left behind.
