Joseph J Baric, born January 30, 1930, in Trafford, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 16, 2026. He dedicated his entire career as an editor at Westinghouse, where he worked with commitment and professionalism. He also served his country with honor, spending two years in the US Army from 1948 to 1950.
Joseph lived in Cary, North Carolina, where he enjoyed a peaceful life filled with his favorite pastimes. He loved reading, which was a lifelong passion. Most of all, Joseph cherished spending time with his family. He was a proud father to seven children: Jean Baric Parker(the late Kevin), Mark Baric(Jan), Christine Gianni(Rich), Thomas Baric(Karen) Carol Baric Tarnow(Greg), Joe Baric, and Robert Baric. His joy extended to his 28 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, who were a significant part of his life.
He was deeply devoted to his Catholic faith and held a strong love for the Lord. His faith guided him throughout his life. Joseph was married to Mary Pavlovich Baric for 52 wonderful years before her passing.
Joseph was part of the Croatian Fraternal Union and served on the St Regis parish council and school board for many years.
Joseph J Baric will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his faith, and his work. He leaves behind a legacy of love and commitment to those who knew him.
