Joseph Paul Godleski

Joseph Godleski, 84 of Scranton, PA passed away on April 11, 2023. Loving husband of Joyce (Burkhart) who preceeded him in death. Loving father of Christine (Rick) Beason and Cheryl Godleski. Dear brother of Mike Goldeski (Martha). Jimmy Haberick, and Barbara Reynolds who preceeded him in death. Loved grandfather of Monica (Christi) Godleski, Kendra Powell, and Maria Godleski.  He was also the great grandfather to Libry, Izaac, Jeanette and Jaxon Powell, and Nataylia Godleski.  Pugsley and Sam his beloved dogs who preceeded him in death. He worked as a tool and die maker for Delaware Machine and Tool for over forty years. He enjoyed fishing, travel, and creating abstract art in ceramic.  Following the interest of his granddaughter Maria, he took up archery and competed with her for many years. He was a man of many talents and greatly loved by his family and friends.
