Joseph Perez

Joseph "Joe" Perez, 71, of Chicago's Jefferson Park neighborhood, peacefully passed away at his home on January 25, 2026. 

Beloved husband of Pamela Rodiek for 23 years. Loving father of Melissa (Michael Mazur) Perez and Nicole (Ty) Perez. Cherished brother of Jesse (Karen) Perez. Adored son of the late Ramona. 

Joe had a charismatic demeanor and made friends wherever he went. He was a big fan of the Beatles and a lover of music in general. Joe was a self taught drummer and played in various bands throughout his life. He was inspired by and followed musical greats such as Jeff Beck and Jazz drummer Gene Krupa. Joe was also a huge fan of the Chicago White Sox. He attended many games with his wife Pam.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date and time.
