Judith Lyon Besser

Judith Besser, 87, of Bensenville, formerly of South Holland and Homewood, passed away peacefully on November 6th 2026. Loving mother to Douglas and Dawn Besser, the late David and Deanne Besser, Diane and Jeff Shipley, and Dorene and Mark Perkins. Beloved grandmother to Chandra (Raymond Ondrejka), Colin (Tasha Messer), Dylan (Jennifer Sin), Amber (Joe Fransen), Taylor, Sofie, Samantha (Grant Ericksen), Briana, Benjamin and 12 great grandchildren. Adored sister to William D. Lyon and the late Judith. Her career blossomed for 20 years at McGraw Hill. The family has requested all proceeds be sent to the Dementia Society of America (https://Dementia Society of America/donate).
