Karen Lee Cypher

Karen Lee Cypher, 74, of McHenry, Illinois, left us peacefully on November 14th 2025. She was the loving mother of Jamie (Andrew) Auffant and Julie (Jacob) West and the cherished grandmother "Ma" to Nora Auffant, Gabriel Auffant and Milo West. She is also survived by her dear siblings Donald (Sue) Norton Jr. and Linda Christine Neubauer. 

Karen devoted her career to serving as a trusted and dedicated executive assistant. A self-proclaimed water baby she was happiest floating in the pool with friends, spending time in Twin Lakes, WI and soaking up the Florida sunshine. She nurtured a lifelong love of flowers, gardening, hummingbirds and jewelry making; she especially treasured spending time with her three precious grandchildren. Karen was truly one-of-a-kind and a friend to everyone she met. Her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, countless friends and the many memories she leaves behind. The world lost a bright and beautiful light.

An open house celebration of life in honor of Karen will be held Sunday November 23, 2025, 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
