Karen Joyce Menard

Karen Joyce Menard, age 72, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on April 11, 2023. She was a long-time resident of Naperville, Illinois, originally from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Karen is survived by her husband, Steven Jules Ackerman, daughter Genevieve Menard-Ackerman, grandson Thomas Steven Harding, Jr., and brothers Bruce and Wayne Menard. Karen was a prolific reader and collector of books, a lifetime student, an outstanding cook who loved international cuisine, a tailor and an artist. She was a domestic goddess who loved entertaining family and friends. Karen shared her eternal optimism and positive views on life with all. A celebration of her life, for family and friends, will be announced at a later date.
