Karen Adele Popken, 72, of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and born in Newark New Jersey, peacefully passed away Sept 7, 2023. Beloved sister of Robert James Popken, Kirsten (Charles) Holzheimer and Lynne (Charles) Huskey. Loving aunt of Bart Huskey, Joanna (Sara) Holden, Cinnamon (Jeramie) Stroud, Alexandra (John) ReganHolzheimer and Elias Holzheimer; dear great-aunt of Ethan, Logan, and Jill Stroud.
Karen loved Elvis and Barbie. She also held a great affinity for Mickey and Minnie Mouse. She happily lived most of her adult life at the Clearbrook, and considered the community there to be her family as well.
She will be missed by many.
