Kari Dillinger

Kari Sue Dillinger, 66, of Schaumburg IL, passed away on July 15th 2023.

Kari was born on May 16th 1957 to Dorothy Baran and Joe Baran Sr. in Oak Park, Illinois.

Kari met Geoff Dillinger in Carol Stream. Kari and Geoff went on to have two children, Emma Dillinger and Ben Dillinger.

Kari spent her time baking, shopping at markets, and vacationing in Indiana.  She loved Christmas and would frequently send cards to everyone she loved. She loved to travel and had fond memories of her time in Europe. Kari was also a cherished dog mom of Henry. 

Kari was predeceased by her brother BJ Baran. Kari is survived by her parents Dorothy Baran and Joe Baran Sr, her brother Joe Baran and her children Emma Dillinger and Ben Dillinger.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to PAWS Chicago or an animal rescue of your choice, Kari felt strongly about animal rescues and volunteered with many in the Chicago area.
