Katherine Adele Holecek

Katherine Adele Holecek, 84, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026. Katherine was the devoted wife of Jack for 64 loving years. She was the adored mother of Jack Jr., Jeff (Debbie) and James "Jim" (Diana). Cherished grandmother of Jack E. (Nicole), Alex (Jake), Ashlie, Matthew, Jordyn, Kaylee, Corrine and a proud great grandmother to Violet and Claire. Beloved sister of Dodie and brother, Robert "Bob" (Patty). Katherine was a longtime employee of her family's business, ESPE Manufacturing. She was also a faithful parishioner of Zion Lutheran Church in Bensenville, IL, where she spent time volunteering with the Ladies Aid and sang in the church choir, and also sang in the Lutheran Choir of Chicago sharing her lifelong passion for music,

Katherine found great joy in sewing and creating handmade gifts for her family and friends.  Whether making something practical or heartfelt, she expressed her love through every stitch, and those keepsakes will continue to be treasured for years to come.

Katherine will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her kind spirit, and the joy she found in her faith, music and community. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
